So what does izzy care about?
People, most importantly. Toddlers and grownups, bosses and phone answerers, dog-lovers and dads, urban dwellers and country-lovers, coffee-drinkers and water-guzzlers—they’re all important for different reasons.
And if you really care about people, you also have to care about the places they work and play in. For izzy, that means every place from offices and schools to hospitals, cafes, dining rooms, and the environment.
And what do we do about it?
The most obvious thing we do is create people-centered furniture that supports New Workstyles—the way people really work today. They collaborate, they telecommute, they’re on the move around the office and the town, and their technology moves with them. When work and home environments support these new ways of working, people can have the flexibility that makes them productive in their work and happy in their lives.

Seeking out smart collaborations that increase creativity and opportunity is another aspect of our people-focused mantra.
Our collaborations and alliances include HAG (one of the leading manufacturers of innovative seating solutions in Europe), Merge Office Interiors (which manufactures izzySmartScreens), Nemschoff (a leader in furniture for the healthcare industry), Studio Z (a textile design studio), and, Sweetwater (a high-tech manufacturer of wood-based office furniture).
And here’s the nitty-gritty.
izzy is based in Spring Lake, Michigan USA, where it combines cool, affordable furniture and seating design with advanced engineering and lean manufacturing capabilities.
Most izzy products are manufactured at US facilities in Belton, Texas, and Spring Lake, Michigan. izzydesign is a subsidiary of JSJ Corporation (www.jsjcorp.com) of Grand Haven, Michigan USA, a privately held corporation of diversified companies with global operations.
